TestimonialsIntelThanks to Nancy's coaching, I no longer recognize myself or my life! I was ready to walk away from my life believing the problem was "out there" somewhere. Thanks to Nancy's powerful insights, thought provoking questions, and guidance to the right action steps I was able to redesign my role in the organization and redefine my relationships at home. At the same time she taught me how to ask myself questions so I could get my own insights and action steps. From wanting to walk away from it all to loving right where I am in less six months, now that's results!
– JH, Intel Corporation Small Business OwnerI knew I had what it took to get my small business off the ground but I was stuck, overwhelmed and a little bit afraid. With skilful guidance through the balance of good questions and holding me accountable, I was able to see how my my resistance to structure was holding me back. Since working with Nancy, I have added some simple calendar structures and follow up systems. My business is off and running. I now have a new problem. I've outgrown my current capability! It's a great problem to have!
- RE, Small Business Owner Laura WalesHiring Nancy is one of the best choices I made last year. Nancy creates a non-judgmental space in which to examine what is working and not working in your life. I discovered that the messiest parts of our lives often contain the most valuable lessons. I learned how to ask the right questions and then trust the answers. I found clarity about my values and goals and moved toward success. After working with Nancy I feel empowered, joyful and confident. Make the phone call, today. You won't regret it!
- Laura Wales Jacques Torres ChocolateNancy Ballinger possesses the uncanny ability to recognize our unproductive behavior patterns and hold a mirror so we can affect the necessary changes. She does it all with the grace that allows us to think we did it on our own.
Got Out Of My Own Way
I worked with Nancy as my professional coach for approximately 6 months. It was only through Nancy's steady line of inquiry and insight that I was able to see how I was getting in my own way both in terms of organizational leadership and nurturing the level of trust so necessary for effective leadership. The work that Nancy and I did together has had a profound and life-long effect on me, my style of personal interaction, and how I achieve renewal on a regular basis. Essentially, Nancy helped me turn a bad and potentially career limiting work experience into a valuable life lesson that to this day I continue to gain positive strength and perspective from. Looking back, it reminds me of a quote by Thomas Pynchon, V, in reference to Sir Earnest Shackleton, the great Antarctic explorer. He said, "You wait. Everyone has an Antarctic." Without Nancy's expertise, I'm certain I could not have broken free of the crushing ice and sailed successfully (albeit much wiser) for warmer waters, crew and ship intact.
Silicon Valley ExecutiveA note to again thank you for your extensive support over the past several months to get me back on track to where I feel more comfortable with "the world" as well as with myself. I very much appreciated the opportunity to work with you and wanted to thank you for coaching me through what was not only a first time, but also a very difficult time for me in my multi-year tenure at the company. Your guidance helped me to work through the situation a lot faster to get back to a more healthy approach. I've been implementing these tools on a daily basis! |
